Angel Reese continues to draw a line in the sand with her dating life by once again making it clear that her personal relationships won’t be available for WNBA fans or public consumption on social media.

The Chicago Sky forward and second-year WNBA star had a candid conversation with Mikey Williams, a Class of 2023 four-star basketball recruit and social media influencer, on her podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel.’ Williams was Reese’s latest guest as the two delved into the pressures of living life in the public eye.

After asking Williams if he was single and available and getting confirmation, Reese took the opportunity to double down on her commitment to privacy. “I just posted today on Twitter, being in this limelight,” Reese said. “You’ve been in public relationships before. I would never post my relationship ever for social media. People are too invested in your relationship. They try to follow you and stuff.”

Fans of Reese dissected a post she made on Twitter where she described her feelings on dinner dates. While she never confirmed her private life, Reese wrote, “I love going out to dinner like yes dinner date me every night,” before asking about the best dinner spots in Miami.

Over the past year, the Sky star has been the subject of dating rumors connecting her to high-profile names, including Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren and Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant. While Reese has openly admired Durant as her favorite player due to their Maryland connection, she’s consistently shut down speculation about her dating life.

In November, Reese called out her followers for their relentless curiosity. “Now I see why people hide relationships & keep everything private,” she wrote. “I don’t think I’ll ever openly share that part of my life with y’all again until I’m married ’cause y’all do the most.”

While some fans quickly applauded her maturity, others accused her of drumming up the rumors for continuously addressing the subject she seeks to avoid. Like her podcast title states, Reese is unbothered, focusing her energy on the upcoming Unrivaled Basketball league set to begin in January.

While the Sky forward plans to keep relationships private, she also shared that she’s not looking for a partner while speaking to Shaquille O’Neal on a previous episode. She told her fans the qualities that she would look for in a partner when the time came to settle down.

“I’m not looking for a man. I’m looking just for happiness in life. A high-caliber man. A smart, nice, and genuine man. But he cannot be a house husband,” she said. “I like danger. I want people to think my man is attractive, yes. He’s got to be a strong, confident man.”
