Just like humans, each cat is different. Some are shy and withdrawn, while others are outgoing, curious, and not afraid to ask for anything.
However, some shy cats can blossom into outgoing felines when next to the right people, just like this gorgeous tortoiseshell kitty with a wonky jaw.
Arkansas, received a text from her friends that piqued her curiosity. They claimed to have stumbled upon something she wouldn’t believe.
Mauren hurried to meet them and found herself at a scene sprinkled with baby kittens all over the parking lot.
Maurens heart burst with joy as she wanted to adopt a kitten, making this a perfect chance for her dream to come true.
As she approached to look at the kittens, one particular tortie kitten with a wonky jaw caught her eye.
“The moment I laid my eyes on Gremlin, my whole world changed.”
Gremlin was born with a wonky jaw.that condition is also known as malocclusion.
It happens when the lower jaw is shorter or misaligned with the upper jaw, causing the cat’s tongue to stick out.
But, Mauren didn’t mind. She fell in love with this kitty and her stunning green eyes, without looking at her flaws.
When Mauren brought Gremlin home for the first time, the kitty was very nervous and shy, keeping her meows to herself.
Mauren was heartbroken, despite knowing Gremlin needed some time to adjust to her new life. She gave Gremlin the time and space she needed, and slowly, things started to change.
Initially, Gremlin followed Mauren everywhere, not wanting to leave her side. But, as Mauren started talking to Gremlin to make her feel safe, she soon started talking back, and that was just the beginning of her talkative side.
No one believed that a cat as shy as Gremlin would ever come out of her shell, however, everything’s possible. Just like that, Gremlin is now one of the most talkative kitties that I know. Mauren added:
“If there was an award for the most talkative cat in the world, Gremlin would win.”
Gremlin is now having a purrfect life, the one she could never even imagine. Every morning she asks her human mom for kisses and cuddles, and every night, she craves back scratches. She’s basically living her best life. Mauren jokes:
“Gremlin is such a chatterbox. Her name should be ‘Sir Meows-A-Lot.’”
“No matter what an animal has been through, they always deserve a loving home.”
From now on, Mauren and Gremlin have plans to continue enjoying their lives together, maybe with the addition of a few more felines, and I wish them the best of luck!
