Amanda Balionis, a well-known figure in golf broadcasting, has been delivering golf coverage for years and reportedly earns a substantial salary.

After graduating from Hofstra University in 2008, the sports reporter began her career reporting on high school sports for Verizon Fios Channel 1 and MSG Networks.

In 2011, she moved to the PGA Tour as an in-house reporter and personality, creating digital content for the organization’s website. By 2018, CBS had made Balionis a full-time member of their team after being initially hired in 2017 as a part time gold reporter. She’s has covered major golf tournaments and has taken a break from covering golf for now to cover football.

Before, the 39-year-old went to cover all things college football and the NFL, she wrote an emotional goodbye to the golf season in August on Instagram. In her post, she expressed her love for the sport and the work that she does. She also highlighted that it’s been a season of “historic moments to heart shattering events and every other emotion you can imagine in between.” Amanda added that it was “an honor” to be a part of “tremendous” team that help brings “these moments and stories to life each weekend.”

As she concluded that she will be covering football until the golf season starts back up. Amanda has been doing double duty for covering golf and football since 2018.

It is estimated that she earned an annual salary ranging from $40,000 to $140,000, with her net worth around $1 million. Given her significant contributions and long-standing tenure covering golf, NFL and college football coverage, it’s likely that Balionis’ salary leans towards the higher end of that scale, reports the Irish Star.

Amanda started her 8th season covering the NFL on CBS in September. Although she was done with the golf season, she covered the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Japan from October 3 to 6. The golf tournament was founded in 2009 and has been in various locations in Asia. 19-year-old Chinese pro-golfer Wenyi Ding was this year’s winner.

She recently covered the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Raven’s game on Sunday, October 27. The Cleveland Browns won the game as quarterback Jameis Winston lead to team to victory (29-24).
