With President Donald Trumps problematic clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shocking the world this week, Saturday Night Live has spoofed the wild interaction between the two world leaders.

During the shows cold open scene this weekend, current SNL Trump impersonator Austin James Austin Johnson portrayed Trump and Bowen Yang reprised his role as Vice President JD Vance – with Mikey Day as Volodymyr. Providing a comical rendition of their controversial Oval Office meeting, Trump (James) and Bowen (JD) chastised Volodymyr (Mike) in the sketch.

Then came the unelected DOGE boss Elon Musk, who was portrayed by SNL alum Mike Myers in a surprise cameo.

But then came unelected DOGE master Elon Musk, as played by SNL alum Mike Myers.

The sketch opened with a tongue-in-cheek voice over: Yesterday, President Trump hosted Ukrainian president Zelenskyy at the White House, and it went really, really well.

Everyone who watched felt at ease and thought the world is now a safer place. Here now is a replay of their historic press conference.

The SNL Trump said: It is I, president and CEO of Gaza Hotel and Casino, Donald Trump, and Id like to welcome President Zelenskyy here to this incredible trap. Its going to be a big, beautiful trap, and were going to attack him very soon for no reason, right?

“And Marco Rubio is here too. Little Marco. Little Marco, you excited to attack our European ally knowing less before we get started, Id like to thank President Zelenskyy for dressing like casual Star Trek.

“We love Star Trek because theres no DEI. The white guy was the leader, and he bossed around Spock, who I believe was Guatemalan.

“We love that, President Zelenskyy, you want to say a few words? Maybe tell Mr. Putin how much you love him and that youre sorry you invaded Russia. Maybe offer him one night with your wife.

Later in the sketch Elon (Mike Meyers) entered, wearing a T-shirt and jeans, like the real-life Telsa founder usually wears.

We love your outfit. Very official and respectful, said the hypocritical Trump, after condemning Voldymyr for his casual style.

Thanks, Donald, what are you doing in my office? You know, Im the president now, right? Im kidding. Im kidding. Maybe not? SNL Elon said.

Trump then shared what DOGE was up to: Theyre doing mass firings in the government. We love mass firings because you dont have to know what any of their names are or what exactly they do.

Elon then explains: I mean, were not going to get it perfect, you know, we are firing the non essential employees, like air traffic controllers.
