One of football’s biggest prospects, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has confirmed his future by making his NFL Draft stance clear in recent comments after practice.
Sanders could have headed to the NFL Draft earlier but his famous father and Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders wanted him to remain a college player in Colorado for one more year.
That decision appears to have paid dividends as he’s only gone on to increase his statistics which cement his reputation as one of the best players in his role in Buffaloes history, setting school records for completion percentage and touchdown-to-interception ratio.

It may not be long before Sanders is at the NFL Draft now, though, and he made his intentions clear when a Colorado coach could be heard telling players to register for classes at 8.30 a.m.: “Nobody is to miss.”
Saunders couldn’t help but smile and say that he had other, far bigger, plans. He said: “Man, I’m going to the league.”
Sanders is one of the brightest quarterback players in college, and is a bit of a media sensation, but it is unclear whether he’d even be a first-round pick in the draft, or not. Expert analysis of Sanders, for example, varies dramatically from one NFL source at CBS Sports to the next.

“He’s solid,” one NFL director of college scouting said. “Talented passer. Holds the ball too long. Don’t see a top-five pick … He’s probably a first round guy [though] because of the body of work and this class.”
Another scout told CBS Sport that they’re unconvinced Sanders is a first-round pick. Another source elaborated, by comparing him to Tyrod Taylor. “It’s just so similar to me with the body build and the way they throw,” they said.
“They spin the ball well, but it’s not like an explosive arm. It’s a good arm, a nice arm, and he throws a catchable ball. He throws a decent deep ball. He can move around some but he’s not necessarily some big-time scrambler by any stretch. But if someone like Mac Jones goes top-15, can Shedeur Sanders go top-15? I guess he could.”
As for who could draft him, well, Sanders could be an ideal fit for the Raiders as the Las Vegas franchise are in desperate need for a solution in that position. Deion, though, likes Miami Dolphins for his son.
Colorado, meanwhile, has upcoming games against Texas Tech on November 9, Utah on November 16, and Kansas on November 23. The Buffaloes finish the month with a match against Oklahoma.
