Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese agreed to an endorsement contract extension with Reebok on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Per Charania, Reese’s extension also includes a signature shoe that is set to release in 2026. She originally signed an endorsement deal with Reebok in Oct. 2023 during her college days at LSU.

Reese wrapped up a stellar inaugural season with the Sky in 2024, receiving a Rookie of the Year vote.

She averaged 13.6 points to go along with a league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game, shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 73.6 percent on free throws. The 22-year-old was named an All-Star and set a new league record with 15 straight double-doubles in the middle of the season.

Reese now becomes one of six active WNBA players with a signature shoe deal, via Charania. She joins A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Sydney Colson.

“I’m extremely excited to let you guys know that we are officially coming out with a Reebok by Angel signature shoe,” Reese said in a statement, per Ben Pickman of The Athletic. “We’ve already kicked off the design process, and it means the world to me to have Reebok’s full support and confidence with this shoe and overall partnership.”

Jide Osifeso, Reebok’s head of basketball, also expressed excitement regarding the new extension.

“Reebok and Angel are growing together every day and our visions for the future are aligned,” Osifeso said, per Charania. “We’re excited to continue the relationship with a ground-up build of her signature silhouette.”

Reese briefly set a new WNBA single-season rebounding record as a rookie, although it was later broken by Wilson after the Sky forward suffered a season-ending wrist injury that required surgery.

As Reese looks to recover and build upon her promising rookie year, she’ll also be looking forward to the release of her first signature shoe in 2026.
