Logan Paul has fans questioning his boxing technique after posting a video of himself back in training amid reports that he could be set to face Conor McGregor.
It had recently been claimed that Paul and McGregor had both been in talks to face each other to fight in a boxing exhibition bout in India in front of a billionaire family, the Ambani’s, with the Irishman himself tweeting that the reports had been true. Paul had then liked a post reporting on the news, now teasing fans that he’s preparing for the bout after posting training clips.
Paul had posted an eight-second clip of him working in his and his younger brother Jake’s gym in Puerto Rico, with him throwing arm punches in what looked to be a lighter session – having fans appalled by his technique.

One fan had written: “He’s been doing this since 2017 and he still doesn’t know how to throw a punch correctly,” while another said: “I’v seen guys throw better punches after going to one boxing session in their lives.”
Paul has yet to speak on the claims that he will be returning to boxing to face McGregor, while currently being contracted to the WWE where he is reportedly set to have a bigger role in 2025. However, he has shown that he’s able to step away from the company for bouts, having faced Dillon Danis in an exhibiton bout last year.
Intriguingly the claims that the two have been in talks for a fight originally came from a fake account, before McGregor and TheMacLife, founded by highly-respected journalist Oscar Willis who is known to have a relationship with the Irish MMA superstar, both shared the news on social media.
McGregor then went on to state: “The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
The legendary UFC star’s future in MMA is looking hazy, having no fight scheduled at this time while being away from the promotion since 2021 – calling off a bout with Michael Chandler earlier this year when he suffered a toe injury.
